NHS Treatment for Parents Living Abroad

Hi Guys,

Not sure this is right forum to ask query.

I'm looking to have operation of My father in UK. Its of Brain surgery.

Could any one advise what is the procedure ? how much it cost ? I'm a British Citizen is there any help available for British Citizen parents.

Your father will have to pay 150% of the NHS costs. He has no entitlement to free NHS and your status is irrelevant.

For costs, you would need to contact the NHS or private consultants directly.

Your father will need a medical visit visa and submit evidence of what he is having done etc and proof of being able to pay it.
