Well, same is the case for me. I can see how much they just stretch so that people are scared enough to go with postal applications. Do post in case you get it. in our we have similar timelines so would be good to know.

@emailubk those 2013 timelines are of no use. Unless you really lucky you are looking at another 5 months atleast. I have just completed 5 months today waiting with no updates.

hello All
DX delivery delivered my RC to unknown person. so I never received my RC.
I contacted both with DX and Home office both said RC has been delivered on your address.

now I am thinking about to use premium service.
Is it only 56 pounds fee or 590 pounds
how long I will receive my RC if I use premium service.

thank you guys if some one can help me in this matter.

It seems like the application process timeline depends a great deal on the type of Visa (work/student/ILR) your BRP is on as well as the reason for replacement. Maybe it could be relevant to state these two points when posting or inquiring about your timelines.

Could any Tier-2 visa holder who submitted BRP(RC) by post for the reason of lost/stolen and like-for-like replacement please share a timeline for reference?

Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone.
My BRP got damaged few months ago. I applied for replacement and had biometrics done end of Jan 2017. However, I have not received anything till now.
I am desperately wanting this BRP to arrive this week to visit my family abroad soon.

Any advice is appreciated, please

Thank you in advance

I made a name change application.

Applied on 23rd Jan
Took money 25th Jan
Biometric letter 6th Feb
Biometrics enrolled, 9th Feb

Not heard anything since.

Has anyone else made a postal application in 2017 and had their docs back?

I applied for my kids' replacement cards in early May this year (2017) and received an acknowledgement email on 24th May 2017.
Scans taken early June 2017. I'll update with progress.

When I checked for application status it saying Decision Awaiting. I am bit concerned now because my kid is travelling back home for his holidays and tickets are already booked. I googled all over but couldn't get any info. my Question are.. Is there any way I can contact them by mail or Phone . Can i change my application to Priority by paying the Required fee. Please if any one got any info with regards to this will be help full

I rang before I sent off the paperwork to be told it could take up to 6 months. I just rang a central number and got through to someone fairly quickly after making selections on the IVR. Sadly though, they seem incapable of providing any more detail than repeating the "up to 6 months" line. And indeed this is what I got on the email after I lodged the forms. Given my kids had plans already to go abroad I could not risk their not having passports otherwise they could not leave at all. One has since left and will return with an expired BRP. Appreciate you are in a worse situation and I wish you the best. You can try the priority fee - they should accommodate the request given the £500 plus fee!

Separately - is there a search field on this website because I cannot for the life of me find it!
