Do we need 16 years education for H1 Visa?

Can anyone clarify this for me.A friend of mine is planning to apply for H1 but things shes not eligible because she got aonly 15 yea rs education.

The petition for a worker in H-1B status doesn't mention 16 years, but instead requires a Bachelor degree or its equivalent.

Thanks cosmopol.She got a Bsc in Computer Science which is 3 years degree.So that should be okay right ?

Generally yes, as long as the College or U. is not something that will raise further questions, but is a legitimate verifiable institution generally consistent with American/Western education standards.
