[IGS To PSW] when IGS expired and apply PSW from outside UK

Hi guys,

As I had been granted ONE YEAR IGS(International Graduate Schema) visa, which expired at Jan 2009 already, I wonder if I can apply for the Post Study Worker Tier1, which is supposed to give another ONE year visa and make it TWO YEAR in total for IGS candidate -- the so-called transitional plan of Post Study Work.

My Visa history:
Student Visa: Sep 2006 -- Jan 2008
MSc Degree Awarded: Dec 2007 from the University of Manchester
IGS Visa: Jan2008 -- Jan 2009 (Applied in the UK)

In addition, I'm now outside UK as my ONE YEAR IGS visa expired.

Can you please let me know whether I'm eligible for the application?

NO
1. No one can apply from IGS to PSW visa from outside UK. U can only apply for IGS to PSW within UK before IGS expires. You cant apply for PSW any more. There is no way.

2. PSW is out of question. Just look towards student visa again or HSMP/Tier 1 General (if you have all the points). Check UKBA website
