ILR - Judicial Review

Post by sekhar_software » Tue Aug 11, 2009 4:04 pm

Hi All,

I came here before 2006, so i am eligible for this 4 year ILR Application. But my wife came in 2007 under hsmp dependent visa.

Since she came in 2007 May does she need to write the Life in UK exam to get the ILR ??

The home office people told both of us are eligible for PR (ILR). Please could you confirm this?

Many Thanks,
Raj

If YOU are applying under JR then you and your wife do not need LIUK test for ILR.

You will need it at naturalisation though

For ILR, dont worry about your wife. If you fulfil the criteria, she will get ILR as yoru dependent without any problem. Regardless of the fact of her date of arrival in the UK.
