Supporting documents for Tier 2 General

Post by ncisgreat » Tue Aug 18, 2009 3:12 am

Everywhere i read about Tier 2 General, I find only the following documents are required
certificate of sponsorship
qualification certificate
english test certificate
maintenance funds papers

only these documents are enough to get visa ? don't we need to submit additional documents. For eg. If i am applying for accounting, don't i need to submit letter from current employer to prove I am genuinely accountant and I am working here for many years ?

If additional documents are required, what other documents can be helpful to get visa. Please help me

This is wat it say at the weblink

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/worki ... 2/general/

Before you apply under the skilled worker category (Tier 2 General), you must have:

a sponsor; and
a valid certificate of sponsorship.

When you apply you are awarded points based on your:

qualifications;
future expected earnings;
sponsorship;
English language skills; and
available maintenance (funds).

they have stated I will be paid 20 thousand GBP per year for working 40 hours per week..
it meets the minimum wages. But what about accomodation and mills ? Do I need to be paid more for accomodation? Do i need any evidence of this? Do i need to rent room in uk and show the proof to embassy ?
