Anyone who has fillup Appendix 8 form can describe what means the original reference…. and copy of the reference….. under the question.

5.6 Have you been assessed by means of an academic/professional reference? If so you must provide evidence of each of the references listed in the Visa Letter. Put a cross (X) in the relevant box to indicate what you have provided.

The original reference
Go to Question 5.12

2.
A copy of the reference together with an original letter from your sponsor confirming it is a true copy. Go to Question 5.12

Hi

Again if you are not assessed by other means you should write Not applicable.This would be written in your visa letter weather you are assessed by external means.Check your visa letter.

Anyway this is not for you if you have just provided educational certificates and Ielts.
