Need Sponsor for Work Permit for 2 days work

Hi there,
I am booked onto a workshop and the person running it has been told they need to be sponsored for a work permit to come over from USA, run a 2 day workshop, and then go home again.
Any idea where they can find a willing sponsor quickly or the workshop will be cancelled.
