child benefit / romanian nationals and WRS.. pls help!

Hi..

I need some advice regarding my claim for child benefit as i don't actually know how to answer some questions on the form:

It's the 'child benefit for people from bulgaria or romania' form, and i got it by post after posting the standard form to them.

The first question is:

Are you registered with any of the HO employment schemes listed below?
-the Worker Registration Scheme
-Agricultural Scheme
-Sectors Based Scheme
-Highly Skilled Migrant Programme

I am romanian and i am self-employed and registered for self-assessment.
I don't think i am registered for any scheme with home office, but the next question is:

Are you exempt from registering with any of the HO employment schemes listed in question 1?
If yes tell us why you are excempt.

I think i am exempt but i don't know to answer why...

Can someone please help me? I am really confused here..

Check home office website

alinna, as a self-employed person you are exercising Treaty Rights in that way, and therefore there is no requirement for you to register on the WRS, which in any case only applies to A8 nationals, not A2 nationals.

So what do you think i should answer?
That i am not registered with any of the schemes above and that YES i am exempt with the reason 'i am exercising my treaty rights as a self-employed individual' ?
