Work permit dependant

I am jus wondering if a person applying for ilr under 5 yr work permit can add a dependent who has been in the uk for only 1 yr and is on dependent visa as of now. Will she get ilr as well or extension of dependent visa.

If the main migrant presently has leave to enter / remain as a WP migrant (and not Tier 2 migrant), then he may include his spouse as a dependant in the settlement application even if the dependant has not completed 2 years stay in the UK (as a dependant) (196D).

If approved, you get what you apply for ... nothing else / different. If refused, your passport is returned without a vignette / visa!
