how can you show sole responsibility child visa 17yrs old

Dear all,

I would like to know how Sole Responsibility can be proved... I have looked at the Home Office link in detail I would like to hear from others how this was achieved.

I am in the process; of gathering paperwork for my step son to join us here he is 17years old. I believe we cover most areas, however would like more advice regarding this thanks
