bite college asking for visa copy

Hi,
I finished my masters course in Bite college last sep 2010, and iam in post study work and the degree awarded by University of east london. Recently the college was suspended by UKBA and to claim the licence back the college is trying to attempt its luck by asking old students i.e my visa copy to them to send it to UKBA.

It looks very funny and suspicious. As my degree is genuinely obtained and got the PSW in genuine way and it has become more than 11 months now.

Why they asking from me ?

They have asked from other very old students as well..
