Tier4 Visa extension after 5 years on the same degree course

Post by sameds » Mon Sep 24, 2012 10:36 am

Hi everyone,

One of my cousins has been in the UK for 5 years on a Tier 4 student Visa.
He came to UK to study for a degree in one of the top Universities. previously he's had his visa extended twice due to a couple of reasons.
he paid nearly £10,000 lat year to complete his final year. I do agree that he is a complete ar*e for not paying enough attention on his studies and then got failed on a couple of modules plus his project.

Now he has been adviced by the Uni to do all modules of his final year all over(also need to pay for the final year again!) to obtain his degree. however they also have said that they are unable to issue him CAS due to the 5-year rule came in last year.

I am just wondering if there are any options for him to get his visa extended.
Thank you in advance. :?

No. University is saying right as per Tier-4 law. He has completed his 5 years limit.
