Funds requirement

Hi!

I have been told to keep AU$ 30000/- as liquid funds in the bank for the purpose of visa approval.

Please let me know from when should I keep this amount in the bank and when can i withdraw the amount.

Could I take a loan and then repay it back before leaving for Oz or would they be checking at the Australian customs upon arrival the proof of funds...?

Pls help!
