I have heard rumours recently that the points tests are going to get a lot harder and it is going to become generally more difficult to gain residency in Australia.
Is this right?
I am an English, 24 year old, IT Consultant, educated to degree level, with an Uncle who has been an Australian Citizen since 1969 that is willing to sponsor me.
In the perfect world, I would like to apply in 18 months or so, but if it is going to get harder, I may have to try and speed up the process.
