NEW WORK AND HOLIDAY VISA DEAL between AUSTRALIA and URUGUAY

Rejoice young Australian and young Uruguayans because you are now able to enjoy the extended holiday in each other’s countries based on the new work and holiday agreement signed by Chris Bowen MP as announced yesterday November 29, 2012.

Under this agreement, university educated Australian and Uruguayans travellers between the aged of 18-30 years old can now stay and work in each other’s country for up to 12 months or 1 year. This is to provide the young people of both countries to engage themselves in a new different cultural experience, while helping to strengthen economic ties between the two countries.

This was possible done by both of the respective persons of each country who signed the Memorandum of Understanding for the work and holiday visa at parliament House in Canberra.
