DRF 1 Derivative Residence Card COA Received. What's next?

Post by Calyx273 » Mon Jan 21, 2013 3:55 pm

I received my DRF 1 COA today, and my question is what do I do next? I have work lined up, but it's self employed work. Do I contact the job centre or HMRC for NIN & formation of business? Also, I would need to open a bank account but don't have my passport as its at the Home Office. Any suggestions on additional acceptable forms of I.D.?

You should be able to get NI, but for the bank account, you may need to request your passport from HO. Have you got a driving licence.
