I NEED YOUR HELP ABOUT MY QUESTION I CAME THIS COUNTRY IN 2006 AND GOT REFUGEE STATUS IN 2007 THEN I HAVE PASSED LIFE IN THE UK TEST IN 2008 NOW GRANTED ILR SETTLEMENT LAST WEEK I HAD ALSO PASS ENTRY 1,3 SPEAKING AND LESTENING,READING,WRITING NOW THE GOVT HAVE PLAN TO START FROM OCTOBER 2013 BOTH TES LIFE IN THE UK TEST AND ESOL B1 I DON`T KNOW IF I AM AFFECT OR NOT SECAND MY WIFE HAD ENTRY 1 IN 2007 THROUGH COUNCIL AND NOW SHE HAS PASS ESOL WITH CITIZENSHIP E2 THROUGH AWWARDING BODY IN DECEMBER 2012 MY QUESTION IS THAT WE WILL APPLYING IN NEXT YEAR FEB FOR NATRULISATION AS BRITISH I DON`T KNOW SHE IS A FINE THAT TEST OR SHE NEED TO DO LIFE IN THE UK AS WELL ANY REPLY WILL BE APPRECIATED

After October 2013, as you mentioned you will need to do both Life in the Uk test and an english test as well...

The KOL test is valid with no time restrictions
As far as the english language test is concerned there is a 2 years timeline, so you will be fine if the test is within the 2 years when you apply.

There are no different rules for Refugees, because your ILR states Settlement, and in terms of Citizenship requirements they will be for everyone with no exemption, hope this helps..

I need your advice about Naturalisation. Anyone from refugee category who were submitted AN application with expired ESOL certificate and got approval without any problem please share us your experience it will be helpful for the rest who are using expired certificate. Thank you.
