Flrm

Post by Kallmay » Fri Jun 21, 2013 3:59 pm

I was approved ILR long residency, my husband has been tier 4 dependent since 2008 and FLR(M) application still outstanding. Can my husband apply for SET(M) after FLR(M) approval or he needs to wait for two years? Please help... Thank you.

When did your spouse make his application for flr(m)?

I believe so, providing he satisfies the other requirements.

So my husband will not have to wait for two years?

The rules changed in April this year, but as the application was submitted before, I believe that he will still be able to use the time as a PBS dependent and qualify for settlement straight away under set(m).

I'll make a request to the HO policy team for clarification on how such applicants should stand.
