Tier 1 Investor - Funds in Joint Account

Post by alphaherts » Fri Aug 16, 2013 10:37 am

Dear Sirs,

I would like guidance on funds available for Tier 1 Investor.
£ 1 Million is available in Joint Account in UK Bank (Applicant and her Son). Son is prepared to sign declaration that his mother (applicant) has full right on funds.

Will UKBA will accept joint account with son?
As in guidance notes it is only mentioned about joint accounts with partners.

Another question is applicants age, Will it be a cause of issue? Applicant is above 60years.
As family visa for old person (adult dependent of settled person) is difficult, we are planning to get entry clearance through Tier 1 Investor.

I'll appreciate your kind guidance against above query.
