IELTS Minimum Band Score for Spouse Visa

Post by usmanakram_86 » Mon Nov 11, 2013 11:46 am

Hi,

I'm living in UK under Tier 2 General (Certificate of Sponsor by Employer)

Recently My Wife got 5.5 in IELTS Exam (In PAKISTAN).

Can you please let me know what is the Minimum Band Requirement in IELTS for Spouse Visa?

Please also post the link to UKBA website if possible.

Many Thanks.

See the approved list, page 17, it must meet an A1/above requirement. Since IELTS min is B1 you'd need to get at least 4.0 in the relevant sections.

Thanks D4109125

She got

Listening 5.0
Reading 4.5
Writing 6.0
Speaking 6.5

Overall 5.5

So she is OKAY with the Score ?

Or she need to give IELTS exam again?
