Hi all,

Need advice, my daughter was born in the UK, she's recently been registered as a british citizen but she's currently in africa with my sister. She had a uk visa which expired. Am currently going to Africa for xmas and I wanted to get her back to the uk on my return.
Can I apply for an emergency british travel document as applying for a british passport will take atleast 12weeks and I don't have that much on my plate for holiday as I need to get back to work?

Advise please

Consider a certificate of entitlement (click).

But will she still be entitled to a certificate of entitlement whilst registered as a british citizen?

Yes, if she doesn't have a British Passport.
