I've been waiting since July since we submitted my wife's application from Lahore. It's now been over 22 weeks :-(

Application LHE: 19/07/13
Status: Under process 01/08/13
RFC: Who knows?

Has anybody else been waiting since July?

Many thanks
Hav u tried to contact BHC?
Hi shah183,

I did call them 2 weeks ago but the person I spoke to wasn't very helpful and told me that they aim to resolve all cases within 24 weeks of submission (or 180 working days) He said if I still haven't received a response by then, I should email to enquire why there's been such a delay.

However, as it's now been 22 weeks I only have another two weeks to go till the 24 weeks is up so I'm thinking I might as well wait till then. I just can't believe that July cases wouldn't have been dealt with by now

Hi RZ Girl,

I haven't heard anything at all, not even to tell me it's on hold. What will you do now as your application has been ongoing for more than 24 weeks hasn't it? If they just keep telling you it's 'under process,' what will you do next?

No one would have likely to heard back this week due to xmas and new years holidays. Maybe after new years day Insha Allah many applicants will get RFC, well i hope so.

I just hate this new layout to this forum, just trying to learn how to use this updated site. I hate it when changes to are made to websites makes it even more harder to use.

Hi All,

My husband received a call on the 12th Dec from the Islamabad visa office regarding his appeal and they asked him to submit TB test, Passport and a copy of my passport to Gerry's in Lahore where we originally applied. They also mentioned this will be followed up by an email. My husband checked his email and he got a call letter via email which said the decision has been overturned and to submit the above.

My husband submitted the TB test and passport on 18th Dec to Gerry's in Lahore. He was advised his passport will be returned in 15-20 days. will this be done within the time limit or is there a longer wait?

Thanks

Does anyone know if BHC or Gerrys are working tomorrow. I checked on both websites it states that they got new year's day off, however on a Tuesday. Which kind of confused me because today's Tuesday and its new year's eve. New years day would be Wednesday right?

Happy New Year to you all! May you all have a wonderful 2014 :)

Does anyone have any advice on the best steps to follow if you' e been waiting more than 6 months have elapsed since your visa application? On Friday this week, it will have been 6 months exactly since my wife applied for her visa (well over 100 working days) and I'm just wondering what my best route to follow is if I still haven't heard anything by then.

I know on here some people have said they've taken their case to their MP's etc but I'm just wondering if the general consensus is to follow that path first or as a last, last resort or should I just keep contacting Gerry's by email asking them to update me? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If there are any successful applicants from July 2013 from Lahore it would be interesting to know your timelines.

Thank you
