when to apply - 5 years or ( 5 years + 12 months )

Post by MonkeyBusiness » Mon Jan 06, 2014 1:50 pm

Sorry guys, I know its very basic need to confirm something

My wife joined me in Sep 2008 as Tier1 Depended got we both got ILR last year April 2013

I am planning to apply for Naturalization in May 2014

Just two questions

1. Do you need to complete 5 Years in UK and additional 12 months without time restriction ( so 12 months after ILR ) total of 6 years or just 5 years in total and last 12 months without restriction

2. can my wife apply with me at the same time ? ( as she was here from Sep 2008 )

many thanks

Yes as it's 5 years residency with the last year settled.
