Re: can someone help plz

Local authorities don't coordinate with home office in this way. Someone would have definitely told home office something. I thought exactly the same. However long you've been with your wife don't trust anybody 100%. When I had problems with my wife the first thing that crossed her mind was to call ...

Re: Applying FLR(o) - Pls help

If you really wanna give a go then apply on da basis of private life . FLR(FP) u might have a half chance.A good lawyer could assist u in making a strong case. This type of application is unlikely to be granted. If your child has lived here for 7 years or more I would've said the success rate would ...

Re: Recieving the Biometric Permit through post

I doubt the Home Office would be willing to change the delivery address. Biometric Card is usually sent recorded and signed for cos it's a sensitive document.

Re: Does my case qualify for asylum?

My wife and I are still having problems after I came out as gay to her in October 2014. My visa is still valid till end of 2016, it was granted on the basis of our marriage. We've been married legally going to 5 years. We've been together for 10 years. What are the chances of succeeding if I claim ...

Re: CAN I CHANGE FROM 10 YEAR ROUTE TO ILR

You can not, the most you can do if you want to shorten the time it takes to be eligible for ILR is to switch into the 5 year partner route. Instead of taking you 10 years to qualify for ILR it would then take you 5 years. This would reset the time it would take to be eligible to zero, the time you ...

Re: Wife FLR(M). HO asking to confirm who resides in propert

It is strange in a way that the HO would invite you and your partner for an interview. What sort of visa does your partner prior to the FLR(M) application? You have lived together for 3 years and have kid together, something does not seem right. It's either they don't think that your relationship is ...

In my opinion I would suggest that the father of your baby should write a supporting letter or a statement to include the following facts: a: That he's the father of your child b: That his relationship with you had ended but you continue to maintain a cordial relationship for the sake of your child ...

The proof of cohabitation should be from 3 different sources. Look at form FLR(M) towards the last page, it is explained there.

Re: First Further Leave to Remain and child Birth Certificat

Obtain the child's birth certificate now and include it with the application in 2017. The certificate does not show proof of cohabitation and would not be considered as such.

Re: Can I change my Discretionary leave into another categor

You are better of staying on your current DLR which would lead to ILR in 3 years' time.

If you decide to become a dependent on your husband's visa, once he gets ILR and knowing that you depend on him for yours he's likely to take advantage of you, after all he has the bargaining power.

Re: Subsistence allowance affecting gross pay

As your employment is non-salaried you should be ok, what matters is that you are expected to have earned 9,300 pounds in the 6 months before you submit your application. What is deducted from your wages each month should not matter. You would be adding your 6 months gross pay, that's what you ...

Such an application can only be made by post. However any application based on health ground is bound to fail, the threshold is extremely high:

Re: Overstay and entry clearence as spouse

You should consider applying from within the country as there's a British child involved. If you apply from abroad and the application is refused for whatever reason, there may be a significant period of separation before you will be able to reunite with your partner. The best is to always apply ...

You were granted on the basis of right to private and family life (Article 8) which put you on the 10 year route. Article 8 rights includes the relationship you have with both your partner and child. Whether you were granted on the basis of your relationship with your partner or as a parent, you ...

Yes it is. https://www.gov.uk/join-family-in-uk/eligibility You can switch from 10 years to 5 years if all the requirements are met. This can be done anytime during the validity of your current visa. You do not have to wait until your current visa is about to expire. The form you would use is FLR(M ...

My leave to remain was initially granted on the basis of private and family life under the 10 year route. In June 2013 I was granted 30 months leave to remain. I then switched to FLR(M) in June 2014 as a spouse of a naturalised British citizen. My Article 8 application was originally made in May ...

A potential Criminal Record??

I recently posted alluding to the fact that prior to getting Leave to Remain I had previously used a friend's identity to secure employment in the UK. There is now a twist to the story. Yesterday morning around 9.20am four Police Officers from the City of London came to our house to arrest me. They ...

Re: Pregnant and applying for spouse visa

Being pregnant indicates that the marriage is genuine and subsisting. Am taking aback that you being the sponsor had to attend an interview.

I personally don't think there's a link between telling the ECO that your wife is pregnant and the delay in making a decision on the application.
