Yes , I did get it last year but it was rubbish as they only sent me the photo copies of all my documents they have in their record so its impossible to guess about your files progress if you get your file under FOI.

@Fanikhan15, yes I got it, it was fairly swift process, they said join spouse visa take up to 5 months but or was approved in 7 weeks.

I applied from Pakistan in 2017 and it took 20 months. Anyone here on the forum might have different experience and hopefully will share with you.

If you are waiting since 17 months I would strongly advise you consult with a solicitor to get the decision as I did, solicitor will them a letter demanding decision telling them its not fair to delay for that long period.

I didn’t know is there is any difference in rejection and refusing, what a pity , rejection after 1.6 years due to incomplete documents, if documents were incomplete why did not they tell you again to send them or why didn’t they reject application at first stage ?
