Re: Citizenship ceremony invitation but no approval letter

Can the experienced members please comment?

The council has already provided the date of the ceremony and I am not sure whether I will be able to get hold of UKVI and get them to send me another copy (if it has been misplaced in the post) in the short period.

Citizenship ceremony invitation but no approval letter

Hi,

Is it possible to attend the citizenship ceremony without the approval letter?
I have received the invitation letter from the council which states I need to have the UKVI approval letter - but I have not received the approval letter from UKVI.

I recently applied for BC. I have not got any sort of traffic offence or any other conviction till date. I do a lot of miles and I think I was recently photographed by police as I did not have my lights on while driving on a motorway. My car has auto lights ( you cannot turn it off manually) and it ...

Expired passport & filling AN for BRP section

Hi, 1. If the passport which was used for applying ILR has now been cancelled and a new passport issued ( old one was due to expire hence was renewed) - do we need to furnish the old passport as a supporting document as well? 2. I guess that this does not have to be mentioned anywhere in the AN form ...

Thanks Char. I am working with an accountant to get the things set up.So, hopefully should be ok. I am assuming that declaring 10 years of employment is enough - we do not need to furnish any proof ( if they require, they will carry out the checks). It is only that I may not have any formal evidence ...

Re: ILR success - PEO experience

1. As long as you find the right degree on the PBS that matches your (and your wife's) qualifications that should be fine. It has to match by the year and the degree awarded. 2. During my tier1 extension I found that FPNs were not necessarily convictions and hence did not impact application. My ...
