I have a similar question. I will be apply for my 3rd extension following a two year break living outside the UK. I think they will give everyone 3 year extensions. But I will need to confirm that. sensational! Thanks Suresh, great help, I will enquire about what a 245(b) rule is.. I had never heard of that. Makes sense to have a rule like that, as a 2 year extension would be no good for me at all.
