I've got through on the phone now, and they can't confirm if they've received my info or not and said I had to go book the appointment in person. Argh! :? I haven't been able to book my ceremony yet as when I called they said I need to wait until I receive my invitation letter from them before I ...

Spoke to my council (Waltham Forest) they haven't received my details yet but should next week. Nearest ceremony date is in June though.

Might book a private one instead

My letter said I will receive another letter inviting me to my ceremony. I might just try call my local council and see if they have my details. Doubt they would as I'm sure HO only send regular mail to them too. Not special delivery like mine was

UPDATE

received my approval today. I had enclosed a special delivery envelope so took 2 days to arrive

Received my acknowledgement letter today

Yea I was just worried if my application was delivered to the correct place or not

I'm not stressed about the application only when it took 3 weeks to take my fees.

I would of liked it by May as I'm going on holiday in June and was hoping to use my new passport for that. But will more than likely need to get a visa on my current passport now

My balance has finally dropped on my CC. Not showing on my statement just yet though.

I'd Call HO to find out if all is okay - it's longer than usual but that said, there isn't anything usual when HO is involved
