as per my views, yes u can use the December 2014 to November 2015 earnings if u r applying for ur ILR on 18th March 2016. But again, I would wait for some seniors/moderators to confirm this in case I am wrong.

Yes, I said that earlier that it was self employed and declared same amount but only declared with HMRC in the ffg tax year and all the taxes were fully paid.

what was the reason for the rejection for which u had to go to appeal process?

I read in the forum somehwre that it may take few months to get response from UKBA.

Hi, My wife had applied for tier 1 gen visa in April 2011 on the basis of Salary plus Self employment. The accountant then made the final accounts and she paid the tax as advised.
