The Citizenship ceremony invitation should arrive within 2 weeks. I applied from within the UK, and I'm from Nigeria. No MP or lawyers involved ...

Re: New citizenship form UKF

To all who have already received the biometrics letter: I have a friend in UK who is not in this forum who received her biometrics letter this week - it stated that they had already sent a previous biometrics letter, which she never received, and that they are giving her another 30 days to do the ...

The other person was applying from Australia. The only document they've issued https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/418544/BRP_International_Rollout_Schedule_v2.pdf about the schedule of opening the biometric schedule (unless there's another one that I haven't ...

Re: New citizenship form UKF

I've just heard from someone who is approaching, or has even possibly reached by now, the six-month mark since their application. They say that they've now received a letter from the Home Office recognising that their application was approaching the 'target' resolution date of six months, and ...

I also sent in a certified copy from the National Archives. Just send it to the Home Office, and let them decide if it suffices as proof or not. I can't imagine why they would have a problem with it, but we can only wait and see.

Re: New citizenship form UKF

@lagos1980 Yes, my passport was sent to me with my Biometrics letter together with my fathers birth certificate. And also one more thing I forgot to tell you... The 4th page/paper of 4 of my Biometrics letter served as an acknowledgment from them stating that they have deducted the 80 pounds ...

Re: New citizenship form UKF

So, did the website bug finally get fixed? How was the biometrics thing - what sort of documents did they ask for? No. You see, when making an appointment through VFS using their UKVI Appointment System, you have to choose first your "Country of Operations" from the dropdown list then the VFS ...

@lagos1980 The 1st page/paper of 4 has 2 barcodes. The first barcode which is on the top right corner of the paper is Code128. And the barcode on the bottom left corner is of PDF417. Try to google barcodes Code128 and PDF417 to see what they look like. The remaining 3 pages just also contains my ...

Re: New citizenship form UKF

I'm curious about the content of the biometrics letter being sent out to overseas applicants. My sister will be applying from Nigeria, which has an abysmal post office system, so I'm worried about her getting the letter in time to enroll her biometrics within 30 days. The biometrics letter I ...

Re: New citizenship form UKF

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone knows where I could obtain someone's naturalisation/registration number that is required for the form UKF, or where I could make an enquiry? I am trying to apply for BC with form UKF under section 4G of the new Immigration Act 2014, but unfortunately I don't have my ...
