Bank Statement

Hi - I am wondeering about Bank Statement as part of income evidence - It of course shows the "after-tax" amont... I thought the income amont requirement for HSMP was pre-tax income amount - Am I correct?? If so, is bank statement good enough because it matches the numbers on pay slips at "after-tax ...
