You don't get any confirmation when you leave the UKVCAS centre. All they do is take biometrics, and scan anything which hasn't been already scanned beforehand. My application took 5 months, but only because they sort of forgot or didn't bother to send the outcome to me. It was refused in June, but I only received it in August. For EEA application do I really have to send all of my bank statements for all the 5 years period? As proof of residence? I believe the Home Office want a variety of sources spread across the five years, at least two per year. So a handful of statements rather than all would probably suffice, but ...
