I Just recvd my HSMP approval ....i am in UK right now on the student Visa ....i am coming to india on 2nd feb...booked ticket before applying for HSMP...since i am coming to India...i want to apply for EC in India itself ...Does anybody know what documents do i need to provide?

Hi skilachi, Thanks for u r suggestions...when u said i need to show some job adverts and prove to them that i can get job when i finished my masters...here lies the actuall problem...what if EC officer asks why are u trying to chage u r immigration status without finishing off the Masters in UK ...

Hello Guyz, Well after going thru NNJ10 case i think this might help somebody...according to the Guidance notes for HSMP..If we have supplied HSMP with anyother certificate other than IELTS or UNIVERSITY Letter then that certificate shud be evaluated by NARIC and it shud be equivalent to IELTS 6.5 ...

There must be some criteria how the cases are being allocated to the case worker. From the Post of Anil it seems it is not definately being done according to the ref num....well i am thinking of calling HO 2rrow to see if i can get any update ...i think they would advise me that my case is in queue ...

Payment cleared : 5th jan
Reference recvd : 10th jan (By calling)
Update : Not Yet assigned to the Case worker....

yah even i am surprised...i clld HO they said that the Payment has been processed but no reference number was allocated they adv me to call next week...where as my friend whi posted the application on 06th of jan and made the payment using the CC has already got the reference dont know whats ...
