I did finish one degree course and I was doing the second degree when I received my approval. I did show that I am a full time student at the time of applying for EC. Now I got two stamps on my passport, one is hsmp and the other is student visa which is still not expired.

I did finish my studies here but my degree was from a non-Uk university so I had to go back to india to change my visa status. I didn't claim any points of the degree I finished in UK but I did include degree certificate and transcript in my application.

I think your application is approved. Just apply for the EC with your approval letter. It looks like that your application was rejected but then they reconsider it and approved it. So it shouldn't be a problem.

Can anyone share their experience about getting EC from bombay ? I am going to appy through VFS ahmedabad after couple of weeks. I have got approval under the old hsmp scheme.

The verification was done from bhc. They asked few questions to my employer about my job, salary and the company itself. but there were all normal questions, nothing special. If you have got reference no. in your letter than they may verify that with your employer as well. It may sound funny but the ...

They just respond me with the application status like it's been allocated to caseworker or under process. You never know what details are they checking and gonna check.

Ya, they verified my work experience. They called the company and asked for all my details. Three weeks after that verification I received my approval letter. So they do make checks. One of my friend applied with me, his work exp. was also checked by them but he got approval within just three days ...

I applied on 5th sep 2006 and got approval on 29th Nov 06. It took around three months to get the approval. When did you apply ?Did you apply from the uk or abroad ?

When is your interview ? Couple of my friends have given interview, they told me that the interviewer will try to make you nervous but don't get nervous, answer them confidently, you will get EC.
