Many thanks. I'm assuming that the B1 only lasts two years. Will it still be usable in 2.5 years assuming that they haven't changed the requirements? I read somewhere that it can still be used even though it's expired.

Hello, My wife has a spouse visa (LTR) for 2.5 years and it will need extending next year. She's on the 5 year route. I know that she will need to pass her A2 English test but is it possible for her to take the B1 and use that both to extend her visa and to apply for Permanent Leave to Remain ...
