OCI Application Fee

Hi,

HCI website says that the application fee is " £175.00 (£173+£2) for each OCI (fresh) application including minors. "

My question is - Does a family applying at the same time is considered as ONE application or each individual will be treated as seperate application?

Thanks in advance

I recently got my birth certificate translated from Global Translators. I liked there services. Also I did not get this notarized as its not mentioned in the HSMP Guidance notes. You might need to check FLR guidance notes. Regarding name, I am not sure but I doubt if anyone will consider this to be ...

Sorry, I think I did not make my question clear. If you are currently in UK on a work permit and want to switch to HSMP, so after initial approval, do you need to send a copy of workpermit as well with HSMP approval letter.

Workpermit Copy for applying FLR

Hi,

Do we need to send a copy of workpermit while applying for FLR (in country application)? Or visa on the passport is sufficient evidence of current status in UK?

Thanks,

Work permit to HSMP (In Country Application)

Hi I have a question on the following situation. If a person is working in UK on a work permit and gets HSMP approved and passport stamped, does he need to inform his current employer that he has now got the HSMP. I am assuming that the person is continuing with the same employer for sometime while ...

As far I know, you cannot get visa for another country when you are already on a visitor visa. For example, if I am in UK on a visitor visa, I can not get visa for Schengen states. Its only possible if you are on a work permit or resident visa.

I do not think a person on UK Visitor visa can travel to any other country from UK. Did you check on the visa law for the country you are planning to take your mother to?

I checked with my company and they say that they have agreement with UK IR which gives special exemption on the employee compensation. This is only because the company is a foreign employer.

Even I am not sure on this. My feeling is that it should not be an issue if we provide bank slips and employer letter. I think we will have to take that chance.

Hi RG1,

Can't I claim even if I have salary slips, UK bank statements and a letter from employer? I mean this is part of my earnings for which I have all the proofs except for P60.

Thanks,

They pay fixed amount per month. I do not have NI number. Its one of the top consulting firms from India. We are partly paid in India and i have tax return for that. But I need to include the UK salary to gain the points. So not sure if HO will approve it without P60.
