Hi Paul My wife is also a filipina and I am going through the process myself. There is a small charge for your wife to scan in manila, around 500 peso I think I read from memory. Yes i agree, pre scanning, sending original documents was one of the most important requirements for an approval. And now with scanning it is largely irrelevant whether it is a scanned original or copy.

Hi

I would have thought that as long as she earns the £18,600 then then its ok to send the documents since August. Surely the threshold hold amount of £18,600 is the thing they require. Good luck. Maybe you can phone or mail the immigration office if you still have doubts?
