Sorry but they r verifying cert from Pakistan which is causing delay. I spoke to a senior guy after making loads of complains, who told me they sent verification request to there honerary counsolate in Pakistan who than verifies it from local union councils n they r extreamly slow.

No idea all they said was they have picked around 35 #lucky people to verify there birth cert and keep them in limbo for more than a year

Any update for anyone guys since they open again last week? They r probably going to clear there renewals backlog in next 1-2 months and by than who know we r again in a lockdown.

No update, no refund, no idea when they will open again and start processing but Congrats atleast urs will be processed possibily within a week once they will open which could in Feb or March or even April untill the Level 5 is in place.

Another lockdown from tomorrow, could be for 2-6 months so will check with u guys after 6 months so, anyway lets see

No update n i dont believe there will be any this year or probably even next year.

Welcome guys, the requests r sent to Honary Consulate in Karachi so they r the one dealing with it. If u ready previous post by Taki who got an email from Passport office stating above.

Well it seems like just another strategy to delay time n keep some in the loop otherwise if they r verifying every single certificate how is it possible that most r sorted in time n we few r still waiting.

Its just 3 of us here n 1-2 more that I know of, no one that I know of have got there passport so far after re-applying. No refund yet as well.
