Why do you think you would get deported? I would apply for the K1 fiance visa, if I were you. The green card can be applied only after marriage.

The other question is whether it is full time volunteering or part time volunteering over the period of 1 year after PR. Will the person resign from their job or take a year's leave for the volunteering requirement?

One referee should be a person of any nationality who has professional standing. It also includes the Managing director of a VAT registered company, on the list of acceptable professionals.

The other referee should a british citizen who is either a professional or aged over 25.

I feel once the decree absolute has been granted, from that date you are free to remarry.

Yes, you can apply via NCS on 11th May 2008, if you were present in the UK exactly 5 years back in the period from 11th May 2003 until the BIA actually receives the application for consideration, which could take a few days.

Thanks very much. Another question: I am now working with a Company based in London, but they process the payslips from their office in Scotland. All HR queries are directed to scotland too. On the AN form, which office address & tax office should I put in? The one in London or the one in scotland?

Ajayjain, please post your experience with NCS, London and also if the documents were sufficient. And, when did you get the referee forms signed? Is it allright to get them signed about 3 months before the actual application date?

Thanks for the reply. There were no criminal or civil convictions. It was irretrievable breakdown of the marriage. One cheated on me and the other deserted. So should the cause irreconcilable differences be mentioned on the AN form for divorce reason? And has anyone else used their GP as a referee ...
