Re: Skilled worker visa Employer change gap time

What happens if I can not apply for employer change during my notice period? Should I go for a holiday during this transition period? You're free to go on holidays anytime. After your last day in the current job, the employer must notify UKVI the termination of your sponsorship. If you travel outsi...

Re: UK Visitor Visa Refusal for dad and sister

The role of the sponsor in a visitors visa application is complementary, it's the main applicant who needs to demonstrate strong financial and personal ties to the home country. I personally would use a regular savings or current account as evidence for this purpose, and not an ISA account. Also the...

Re: UK Visitor Visa Refusal for dad and sister

As the refusal letters says that 'no rights for appeal and administrative review' only way is to reapply. This time for my dad, To show my funds, I will move all amounts to one account and show that account. To prove ties back to home country: I can include documents showing that his house back in ...

Re: ILR application - rolling tenancy

That's not an issue at all. Many immigrants are or have lived on rolling basis tenancies and it doesn't have any impact on immigration applications, etc. When moving to a different place/council, you must register with the dates you started living in the new place, etc. Don't need anything from a pr...

Withdraw the child application and get a full fee refund, at least UKVI are offering you this.

The wife and child can apply for an extension next year.

Re: GTV 3 year dependent to ILR

Immigration advisors are not always providing accurate information. This is their job to make these processes more complicated than they really are, for the applicant to hire their services. I still don't see any issues with this, as the GTV-ILR route allows dependants to count time on any other vis...

Re: UK driving disqualification impact on Skilled Worker Visa

PCNs are not needed to be declared.

The same form provides examples of what motoring offences need to be declared, driving disqualifications are one of them. Then there is a field in the form to give details of the offence. No need to add any cover letter repeating the same.

No need to wait to submit a fresh application, it can be done anytime from now and before your current leave expires.

Just ensure to don't plan any travel outside the UK while it's processing.

They live almost 7 hour far away from VFS Global address and it will be waste of travel for them if their passport is not ready for collection. They should have paid for the passport delivery service. It's the most sensical solution when the applicant lives far away from the VFS Centre, so they don...

Regarding 2) and 3) also note that these are the current immigration rules. You are still a few years away from ILR so there's no guarantee the same will apply at the time. There are general elections in the UK in a few weeks and migration (and more changes to the current rules) is one of the key to...

That's not an issue. This e-system is not yet fully implemented. People can still use a physical BRP to board a flight back to the UK, despite being notified to open an eVisa account. There's a statement in the HO factsheet in this regard: For now, customers should continue to use their BRP as they ...
