i aslo need to emphasize that it says your closing statemnt must have at least that amount (£800) and can not be later than 1 month from date of application

you are absolutely correct, i got a mail form the home office to confirm this and it includes every application for tier 1 whether renewing or extending so long as you are in the UK

i think you should be able to use the fund passbook along with your bank statement so long as it is verifyable by HO.

amit_9aug, Your bank statement will suffice as evidence along with your payslips of course! and possibly an employers reference that you would have submitted for earnings.

Thanks, I just spoke to HO as well and they have confirmed that I can use both statements so long as they are both in my name and they exceed the required amount

i just spoke to the Home office and they have confirmed that i can submit two statements to show that i have always had over £800 available to me so long they are both in my name.

Hope this helps cos, it was a huge relief for me.

Just to add, i have just spoken to the home office and they have confirmed that you can submit more than one bank statement so long at the funds are readily available and they are above £800 collectively over the 3 months period.

Maintenance Fee - Tier 1 Migrant

I have two accounts but both of them have gone lower than the required £800 at a point in the last three months But when you add the balance on both accounts, the total is well in excess of £2000 at every point in time. Will i be able to submit both statements as evidence.
