Long time since I posted here.

Anyways I was wondering if I can apply for a permanent residence in Romania as a family member of a Romanian citizen ... even if we don't reside in Romania.

I stayed there for 2 years only ... we do visit sometimes though.

Funny as it may sound, I travelled ALONE with this same card to Belgium, Spain, Poland, Czech, I pass through Hungary 10 times alone.

Funny as it sounds, they don't require a visa for non-EU national holder a Romanian residence permit as a family member even when traveling alone.

NO you cannot, you need a Schengen visa to travel alone to France.

OK...I have seen the site but I dont get it clearly, Does the EU national have to go there and arrive for the permit or they will have to apply for it before they go ?
