Hi sorry to hear ur case...Waiting for such a period seems unusual.I knw most government dept are practising work to rule coz of pay related issues..The INIS is no exemption but in most cases they do make decisions on application b4 the 6month dead line..

Hi rebel82 since the guy was given the right to appeal the EU Treaty refusal,his case isnt closed yet and for that reason he can do what ever he wants now..if he fails to appeal within the time given, the EU treaty section can now draw a conclusion on his case and take whatever action they wanna tak...

Hi knapps this is wat the law says...; Continuity of residence may be attested by any means of proof in use in the host Member State. You are obliged to apply for a permanent residence card before your residence card expires . Failure to comply with the requirement to apply for a permanent residence...

Hi knapps to apply for the permanent resisdence card all u need to do is to fill in the EU form 3 and provide evidence that u have resided legally in the state for 5yrs...it doesnt matter which stamps u've had in those 5yrs.. u need a prove of residence for that 5yrs...utilities bills or rental agre...
