Re: Citizenship for children born abroad.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Both parents are married.

What I understood is other parent and child 1 will need to apply under spouse visa route. Correct?

As child 2 is also abroad, what form will need to be filled?

Thank you

Re: Question about BRP return

For what its worth, my wife & I never sent our BRPs back & we got our ILRs & nationalities a year apart, nothing happened & there is nothing they can do about it anyway.

You can’t get a British passport if your foreign passport has a different name on it.

No harm done. Not declaring fixed penalties won't have any negative effect on the outcome.

Re: British Citizenship Ceremony - going out of country

As stated above, technically ILR is lapsed once you have attended the ceremony and have signed and dated certificate in hand, having said that, A British citizen cannot be denied entry at the border. If your friend attends virtual ceremony even from overseas, he will be allowed to enter the U.K. on ...

Re: British Citizenship Ceremony - going out of country

Technically, yes, but realistically the Stupid won't refuse boarding as long as the physical ILR BRP is presented. Immigration officer also won't deny entry, the most they can do is keep the BRP & advise to apply for British Passport.

It should go ahead as UKVCAS call themselves 'essential service'. Perhaps double check with them, there will be some information on their website.
