Re: Passport application – Section 3 (uncancelled passports)

Hi everyone, I'm applying for my EEA child's passport, whose current non British passport is in the hands of my spouse, who's abroad and with whom I have no contact currently. So I have no access to my child's current EEA passport. Is this a valid excuse enabling me to check the "stolen passport ...

Re: Which requirements for translations of official document

Sure but that doesn't tell me which particular certification the translation should carry.

Re: Which requirements for translations of official document

Thanks CR001. But how do I prove that the translator is registered? Should I add a sheet of paper that mentions his/her registration number?

Which requirements for translations of official documents?

Hi, In the application for a permanent residence card from my non-EEA wife, we need to include an English translation of our marriage certificate. But I can't find whether there are requirements for such translation. For example, should it carry some certification or something? Can anybody make this ...

Excellent piece of advice John, I'll do that for the 2012-2013 year. However please note that it is apparently impossible to get the same tax computation screen for previous years...

@John: after searching the menu of the online self-assessment page, I'm not sure about what you mean by tax computation.

Are you refering to this ? http://uppix.net/0/3/e/e08253e2cc7b4e8e ... 32797.html

I just submitted my 2012-2013 return online.

Self-assessments to prove income from self-employment

Hi, It is possible to use self-assessments (tax returns) to demonstrate income from self-employment. However, self-assessments are 15 pages documents. Should I include a copy of the whole document (I was thinking of sending the 3 last ones, that would be 45 pages !!) or only the pages showing total ...

I'm a web designer working for clients in the US and UK. Actually the reason I'm applying for my wife is because she was stolen her residence card (and apparently the BA is incapable of reprinting a document that has been lost so we have to start over the entire process). She had obtained her card ...

Yes, bank statements are also and option they proposed. But they say "business bank statements", whereas I use a personal bank account for my business (it's a second account of mine that I use only for professional income) So technically the bank account associated with my business is not a business ...

PayPal payments as evidence of income from self-employment

Hi everyone, I'm filling out a EEA2 application form for my wife who's a non-EEA. I'm self-employed and I need to show I'm exercising treaty rights by providing evidence of my income as a self-employed person. I was wondering if printed screenshots of PayPal received payments can serve as evidence ...

Reprint of visa

Hi everyone, I'm a EEA national, my wife is a non-EEA national who obtained a resident card . However she lost her resident card. We sent a letter to the Home Office asking them if a reprint of the visa was possible. They replied, in essence : "we'll think about it and reply to you within 6 months ...

Going abroad while applying for resident card

Hi everyone, I'm a EEA and my wife is a non-EEA. She had the right to live in the UK as the partner of an EEA. But she's been stolen her resident card so she has to apply again. At the same time, she needs to travel abroad very soon. Is there any way to go abroad and come back while in the process ...

Yep sorry I'm talking about a permanent resident card indeed. So basically the application will follow the normal process and last the normal delay, which could be 6 months ?

(she applied in 2008 and it took no less than 14 months to get a response)

My wife lost her Visa

Hi everyone, I'm a EEA French citizen working in UK and my wife is a non-EEA peruvian citizen also working here. She came with a 6 month spouse Visa. Shortly after she obtained a permanent Visa (a printed document, not something put on her passport), she lost it. An immigration advisor told us that ...
