ILR+Lawyer?

Hi All A friendly of mine recently said that he was told that a lot more applications for ILR these days are being turned down. Is this correct or just scare mongoring? He has been suggesting I get a lawyer to apply on my behalf, if I had the spare money I probably would. Is it a good idea to get a ...

@avjones

Your post seems to imply what will/may happen if you had a license at the time of the offence.

The form asks for criminal convictions, I thought a traffic offence was not exactly an criminal offence?

Thank you

Hi Guys

I got a fine for no insurance but did not have a license either at that time, will that be of any concern, this was a few years ago?

Thank you

Hi Guys

A couple of more questions -

1. I got my HSMP is Feb'06 but got a job in Oct'06, is that going to be a problem and do I need to do anything about it?

2. I understand the fee for ILR will go up to £1295, is that correct?

Thank you very much.

How much money is reasonable to have in the bank?

Do they bother with how much you have been earning anually?

Thank you

Nagi

Can you give the phone number to ring as the HMRC website isn't straightforward?

Also is it just called the employment letter?

Thank you

Hi

I did a bit of digging around but haven't found any specific replies. I am trying to find out what documents are required and if I don't submit the employment letter and the P60s?

Thank you

Judicial Review

Hello everyone I applied for HSMP back in Feb '06 and think I come under Judicial Review and can apply only after 4 years being uder HSMP. The questions I have - 1. Is the employment letter required at all? 2. Are P60 forms required, won't the bank statement & payslips be enough? 3. What documents ...

P60s

Hi

Did you submit your P60 forms as well and what documents did you submit?

I thought they would be happy with bank statements & payslips as proof of income.

Appreciate any help.

Thank you
