You need to send your ilr BRP card as that is the proof and evidence that he was born British as you held ilr at the time of his birth. Your citizenship is not relevant to this. Hmm, I think, I misunderstood you at the time then. I thought by clock reset, you meant that once one switches to FLR M, ILR can only be possible after 5 years on FLR M even if one achieves 10 year stay, say, by three quarters of the time on FLR M.
