I am guessing that you did not fill in your forms for visa. If you did then you would have known that It just means Point Based System (PBS)'s applicants' dependent. Thats the form you fill out when applying a PBS Dependent form. Hence your wifeand kid's visa category will mention PBS Dependent ...
