Hummm, guidance says 6 months and you have only submitted 4.5 months. I would err on the side of caution and submit the remaining via signed for delivery and attach a reference number.

The 7 digit reference is generated as soon as the application has been logged in their computer system. It does not mean they have started processing as such - just means they are in receipt of the application and its in the "system". They have a SLA of 90 days for settlement visa's but it is not ...

An MP will not be able to do much at all unless there is something unfair or againest the rules and regulations for bonafide immigration.

With appeals its just a waiting game to await your turn. There is always an option to submit a new application whilst your appeal is pending.

In regards to your query - not all councils do a accomodation survey and therefore you may have to get it done and paid for - cost is between £100 - £200.

My thinking is the ECM review has been done or is not applicable and he/she has passed it to the Tribunal therefore kicking off the appeal proces. The ECM has not made a error of judgement so it has headed of to the appeal process. As you can see a Tribunal Appeal Number has been generated as well ...

Looks like the case has gone to the appeal process. And passed the officer review process.

You will recieve letters in due course if you would like a verbal or paper based appeal process. Expect a minimum of 3 to 4 months wait i would guesstimate.

There is no requirement for a chest xray to be done from India. When your sister arrives at London Heathrow, at the Airport they will direct her for a Chest XRay and send a letter to her spouses address with the result and if any follow up is required. Limited research on this at the momemt. But think best for his wife to get a EEA passport and then come to the UK, he says she should get a EEA passport within 12 - 18 months time.

Would this be a better option? kids are under 21 at the moment.
